        Fulya Erdemci

      1. Fulya Erdemci (born 1962) is director of SKOR, Foundation for Art and Public Space, Amsterdam. Previously she was director of the International Istanbul Biennial, 1994–2000; director of Proje4L –Museum of Contemporary Art, Istanbul, 2003–2004; and temporary exhibitions curator at Istanbul Modern, 2004–2005. Erdemci taught at Bilkent University, Ankara (1994–1995); Marmara University, Istanbul (1998); and Bilgi University, Istanbul (2000–2007). Erdemci was a member of the curatorial team for the 2nd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Moscow, 2007. Other curatorial projects include: Wandering Lines: Towards a New Culture of Space, (co-curated with Danae Mossman), 5th Scape Biennial of Art in Public Space, Christchurch, 2008; and Istanbul Pedestrian Exhibitions, a series of public art exhibitions realized in two editions, Istanbul, 2002 and 2005. Recent SKOR projects include: Morality Wall, four facade projects by AES-F, Ayse Erkmen, Isa Genzken, and Maider Lopez, in collaboration with Witte de With, Rotterdam, 2010; and Actors, Agents and Attendants 1: Speculations on the Cultural Organisation of Civility, international symposium series, Amsterdam, 2010.
