        Nadim Samman

      1. Nadim Samman read Philosophy at University College London before gaining a masters at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where he is currently pursuing doctoral research on the reception of post-Soviet art in the United States of America. He has written for publications including The Art Newspaper, Contemporary, Asian Affairs, Art India, Erotic Review and Naked Punch and has been an invited speaker at the 2009 Beijing Biennale, Christies and SoAs. His curatorial project include presentations of Russian modern and contemporary art, by figures including Igor Makarevich, Alexander Ponomarev and Andrei Tarkovsky. He is also active in the field of photography. His most recent exhibition – titled ‘A Positive View’ - is currently on show at Somerset House, London, and features over 120 works by major international photographers living and dead.
