Catalog of the exhibition Jurassic Technologies Revenant, 10th Biennale of Sydney, Sydney, curated by Lynne Cooke (curator at Dia Art Foundation, New York) (27.07.1996– 22.09.1996). The exhibition considered the 90s preoccupation with digital media and new technologies that were enabling an explosion of new media and net art during the decade by inviting a re-appraisal of older reproductive technologies such as photography, film, and print. Key themes that were found throughout the exhibition included the politics of identity, the impact of the mass media on contemporary perception, memory and its relationship to history, and computer-generated imagery and reality. Exhibited artists included: Matthew Barney, Rosemarie Trockel, Tony Oursler, Rebecca Horn, Francesco Clemente, Ann Hamilton, Stan Douglas, Yasumasa Morimura, Mark Wallinger, Nan Goldin, Louise Lawler, Philip Taafe, etc.
