Katrin Klingan is a member of the relations e.V. board and since June 2011 head of the Department for Literature and Humanities at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin. From 2003 to 2010 she was artistic director of relations, a project run by the Kulturstiftung des Bundes. In the years 2001 and 2002 she was advisor for cultural priorities to the Erste-Bankengruppe (now called the ERSTE Stiftung) in Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Croatia. From 1998 to 2001 she was the programming director of drama at the Wiener Festwochen (among others, she was co-curator of Wahlverwandtschaften, 1999, and du bist die Welt. 24 Episoden über das Leben von heute, 2001). From 1995 to 1997 she served as assistant to the Vienna City Councilor for Culture. She conceived and organized various cultural events in Vienna (including word up! Literatur in March, 1995.
