        Nathalie Zonnenberg

      1. Nathalie Zonnenberg (born 1968) is an art historian and curator. She holds an MA in Art History from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, where she lectures in the Art History department and is currently working on a PhD entitled “Re-presenting Conceptual Art. Between Democratization and Commodification.” Since 2004 Zonnenberg is curator of art projects in the public space of Leidsche Rijn, a housing estate area in Utrecht, where she has organized projects by artists such as Monica Bonvicini, Stanley Brouwn, Esra Ersen, Monika Sosnowska, and Atelier van Lieshout. She is also associate editor of Manifesta Journal, Amsterdam. Zonnenberg has organized curatorial projects such as REDONE. Conceptual Art from the Collection, Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo, 2008 and L’Enfer, c’est les autres [Hell is other people], Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, Amsterdam, 2007. She also contributes to art catalogs and artist books and writes for publications such as Kaleidoscope, Metropolis M, and Tubelight. Zonnenberg lives and works in Amsterdam. [Last updated 2009]
