Vera Tollmann is a cultural scientist and writer. Her research examines (dis)continuities in representations from the space frontier to the data frontier. Tollmann co-direct the Research Center for Proxy Politics, Berlin (2014–2017), which hosts a series of workshops at the University of the Arts, Berlin on the politics of digital networks, the political economy of crypto-currencies, the genealogy of networked thought, the mediality of physical landscapes, and strategies of opacity.
